Symbol availability for Shanghai will initially consist of A-shares only.
Shanghai A-shares use a 6-digit code format.
For example, the symbol for the Agricultural Bank of China is 601288.

Basic Market Rules
- Lot Size: 100 shares
- Tick Size: 0.01 increments
- Stocks are subject to maximum daily price fluctuation limit of +/- 10%, except for on their first trading day
- Symbols that are subject to a risk warning will have a maximum daily price fluctuation limit of +/- 5%
Auction Mechanisms
For Shanghai, there is only an opening auction between 9:15–9:25.
Order cancellation is not permitted from 9:20–9:25.
Unexecuted orders from the opening call auction will automatically be transferred to the continuous trading session.
