SymbolList Editor
4a) The Symbol List Editor allows the Trader to create and manage a list/set of symbols. Click on the Symbol List Editor icon on the STS Toolbar to open.
4b) You will notice two sides, a box for Lists (left) and a box for Symbols (right) which will contain the group of symbols belonging to a certain list. Click on the New button to create a new list.
Input the name of the list and click OK.
(A) The list name will appear on the LIST box (left) while allowing you to insert symbols for such list on the SYMBOL box (right). (B) Add as many symbols as needed for such list, as well as other lists with their respective symbols. Your window will look like the following image as a result.
4.1 Editing Symbols and Symbol Lists
4.1a) To edit a Symbol List name, double-click on it. The same pop-up window for symbol list name creation will appear. Enter the new name to change.
4.1b) To edit a Symbol, double-click the symbol of the respective list you wish to replace/change. The symbol to change will be highlighted. Simply enter the new symbol.
4.2 Importing an Existing Symbol List
4.2a) Click on the Import button to open the browse window.
4.2b) And browse for the .CSV file containing the symbol list.
4.2c) Click on the .CSV file found and click Open button to import it.
4.3 Inserting Symbols after List Creation and Sorting
4.3a) To add more symbols whenever required, right-click anywhere on the blank space indicated by (A). This will show the user an option to “Insert Row” for him/her to continue adding symbols following the normal list order.
4.3b) Right-clicking on a symbol will allow you to decide where the new symbol should be inserted: on top or below the symbol marked.
4.3c) Clicking on the “Up” and “Down” buttons will also sort the symbols.
4.4 Removing Symbols and Symbol Lists
4.4a) To remove Symbols from the list, you must:
(A) Select/highlight all the Symbols you wish to remove. (B) Click on Delete Selected button and you will have successfully removed the unwanted symbols as shown in the image below.
4.4b) To remove a Symbols List, you must:
(A) Select/highlight the Symbol List you wish to remove. (B) Click on Delete button and you will have successfully removed the unwanted symbols as shown in the image below.
